Make a Pen stand from ice cream sticks with kids
Here is yet another addition to our art projects.
Little Zoey was getting bored, and I did not want her to watch TV, it was a long tiring day, and also I wanted to keep it simple. Simple is good for her age too!
A vibrant and colorful Pencil or pen holder made of popsicle sticks
What you need
Card stock or Toiletpaper roll
Acrylic paints and brushes
A bunch of popsicle sticks
Glue- we used fevicol
And some ”patience”

Method
If you have a toilet paper roll lying around, use it, or else fold a strip of card paper /card stock to make the inside skeleton
Now paint up the popsicle sticks in vibrant colors. We used acrylics
Let them dry.
Stick them up.
For the base you could cut styrofoam/thermocol or cardboard circle, and slide it in.
Your multicolored super adorable Pen Stand is ready.
You could always add toys /bling/ decorations to it. We kept it simple.
Sometimes simple crafts can be amazing fun! The 3 year old needed assistance while sticking up the sticks. But an older kid can do the activity all by themselves. Like I always mention – arts and crafts are a great bonding time with your kid!
