Did I just say “Healthy Junk Food” ? Ofcourse I did!

Who doesnt like junk in the stomach? We all do, including the kids! If only we find ways to incorporate some nutrition in them , the kids wouldn’t mind giving them – what we think are junk foods

Heres how I dont mind giving junk food to my kid, and dont sweat too much over it! These are some wonderful recipes for kids, which they would love to eat.

Sweet Potato French Fries

Clean and peel sweet potatoes. Cut them into finger chips.

Heat oil. Fry till crisp. Season with salt

PS: you could bake them as well, but the kid at home doesnt care for baked fries! Baked fries would always be more healthy :)

Pav Bhaji

Homemade pav bhaji cannot be junk. U are the one who controls the amount of fats go into making it. Here is how we make at home, and the 3 year old loves it!

1 tsp coriander pwd

1/2 tsp kashmiri chilly powder – or more if you kid can tolerate heat

Lovely ideas, poonam! Guess what I make each one of them at home. I also make baked chicken strips, all chats including bhel puri, pani puri, cutlets, tikki, chole bhature at home. I feel cooking at home is definitely healthy and hygenic.
