11 Fantastic Ways to Display Kids Artwork

Jan 10, 2013 8 Comments by

Anything the little hands create is so precious, you would want to preserve these memories for ever! While stacking them up in a drawer is not a bad idea at all, its even better if you could display their artworks in their room.

This encourages them to  do more, be more creative, and always motivate them. The satisfaction they get from what they create – words probably cant explain.

Here are my 11 tips to display your kids artwork, in their room, in your living room, in kitchen , in hallway- or wherever you want!

1. Use fridge magnets to display kids artwork

We use this all the time. And the magnets are also painted by the kiddo! – see my post here on how we made the FRIDGE MAGNETS

2. Make ClothesPin Magnet to display artwork

3. Strings and clothespin to display artwork.

Have a hallway or an empty wall ? Put it to good use! Do up a string and clothespin/ office clip display for kids. Check out this clever idea by Random thoughts of a SuperMom

4. Use frames and chalkboard paint.

I love the idea of using chalkboard paint in kids rooms, hallways etc. And I have lost count of how many times I have mentioned this on my blog! Dedicate a wall in your house to your kids artwork. An array of frames along with some chalkboard paint for daily doodles is such a great idea to motivate them! Find out more HERE

5. Go digital!

Use a digital photo frame. Scan and save their artwork onto an SD card and you could have a whole lot of their creations loop in display!

6. Clothespin artwork display in Kitchen

Why just the living room or kids room? You could hang them up in the kitchen too!

7. Make plush toys out of kids artwork

What better gift would it be for your kid than to make him a plushie out of his doodle? LittleBirdieSecrets shows you how to make them!

8. Make placemats out of kids artwork

This is a wonderful idea, and can make meal times so much fun! All you need to do is get their artwork laminated. Heres a small tutorial on KidsActivityBlog

9. Make your own memo board/ display board

Pinboards or memo boards are great for displaying kids artwork, but if you customize them, its even more fun. ICanTeachMyChild shows you how to make your own

10. Get merchandise printed

Get a laptop sleeve, or a phone cover, a mug or a bag digitally printed with your kids artwork!

 11. Use School exam pads to display their artwork!
